Polling is basically an art at this point. There's no reliable way to consistently reach a random set of people. Everything is based on a ton of assumptions and extrapolations based on the type of people these pollsters THINK are dumb enough to answer their phone and start talking with them.
I actually think anecdotal evidence is more valuable here. Trump won in 2016 and tied in 2020 with no public support. Not sure how he loses in 2024 when he's getting 70% of the teamsters votes, Elon Musk, RFK Jr, Bill Murray, Patrick Mahomes wife, all of the UFC, Shazam, Theo Von, Logan Paul, etc. The Trump public support is like 10x higher than it was in 2020 when it was literally just Kevin Sorbo. |
