Same and cr
I unsubbed to all during George Floyd Summer of Love and never went back. Before then I was a Wholesome Chungus supporting real journalism.
But ljl at WaPo I have never read a single thing in that rag that wasn't deeply dishonest. I maybe saw one article that didn't tell a lie from the early 90s in the archive. It was a long time ago.

i worked at the poast when i was in college and just after i graduated. i desperately wanted to be a copy editor or something there (mostly bc i had no idea what to do with myself), and was really crestfallen that it was impossible because i hadn't gone to columbia or whatever.
now, i LJL because i make more than the managing editor of that paper and all those faggots are losing their jerbs.
random factoid: i was a news aide and had to tell editors when someone was on the phone for them. bob woodward didn't work in the office that often, but when he did, i had to go up to him a few times a night and say "hey, bob, ______ is on the phone for you." i thought it was awkward bc he's famous. also, if he ever worked on a sunday, he'd bring in like 25 pints of ben & jerry's ice cream for everyone. he was a nice man.
another random factoid: my dad, also named louis cannon (deaf and gay) worked at the poast in the composing room. they did the paper layout, but they were replaced by computers by 1984 or so. however, the union negotiated them lifetime jobs so he sat around on his ass until 2000 when he felt like retiring. i started a year later. anyway, one day during my first couple months there, the head of the foreign copy desk was outside smoking and i went out to smoke. he said "hey so how's your dad been?" and i was like um, cool yea hes good. he moved back to louisiana." "he's from THERE?" "yeah." and basically i figured out that he thought my dad was lou cannon, the famous reagan biographer, who also worked for the poast. there have been at least three louis cannons who worked at the washington post. the end.

i hooked up with this copy editor and i'd go to her house during the day (we worked nights) and eat her pussy and put my dick in her mouth and pussy, etc.
one day i came to work and she had a cold sore. i asked her to suck my dick and she said "i can't, i have a cold sore."
i started calling her "cold sore blowjob." for some reason she got really bothered by that. i started telling all the news aides that i was starting a straight edge hardcore band called "Xcold sore blowjobX" and she got really angry.
also, the bassist of bikini kill worked in the style section. she was nice, but super uptight. she's married to guy piccioto from fugazi, and she asked me once if i wanted to buy his volvo. it made me think of the john voight episode of seinfeld.
we used to go outside at 11 pm or so and watch the street walkers. they were EVERYWHERE.

all kinds of people i guess.
i picked one up once, when my gf was out of town and i was using her car. the whore left glitter all over the seat that my gf asked me about lmao.
i took this whore to a hotel on rhode island ave that was used solely for prostitution. you rented a room for $15 and used it to nut and then you left. this room was the most depressing thing on earth: sink and toilet right next to a bed, and the bed had no sheets or anything. i fucked this chick doggy and then drove her out to ny avenue and dropped her off.
not flame, i'm at least 50% sure i saw her a few weeks later at a fucking olive garden in laurel, md. i can't be certain but i did a double take and i just felt like it was her. i was there with my gf.
this all happened about a month before 9/11.
i didnt accept a coldsore bj. however, i hooked up with this girl in 2016 who'd recently had warts frozen off her twat and i went down on her.

when you look at the bios of all these WaPo writers whining about layoffs on social media, it's no wonder they were losing money -- they barely produced any content and when they did it was nonsense, not some big, in-depth investigative piece. e.g.:
- POC political features writer who had 3 stories in the past 4 months
https://x.com/ajcardano22/status/2019674008975790213
- Sydney, AUS bureau chief who hadn’t published a story in 6 weeks and between Aug 9 and Dec 14 wrote 0 stories
https://x.com/ajcardano22/status/2019413298761089515
Keep in mind, WaPo actually pays a good salary relative to journalism. All of the writers were probably making six figures with benefits. These positions were basically sinecures, and it's only shocking they somehow still existed in 2026.
