Guys, I know we love to joke around here but stay the fuck away from Subway franchises. They are horrible businesses where you put in 250k to make 45k as a fucking owner operator. In the post Covid world, people don't want to work for $8 an hour any more and their business model collapsed. Tons of these "long time" locations are closing.
I looked at being a franchisee years ago and it was lol what a bad deal it was. Also represented one of these franchisees who managed to scrape together a chain of locations, only to have his company disintegrate in his hands when labor costs rose. He sold his whole chain of like 8 locations for the price of a fucking car.
