If people aren’t visiting Google.com anymore that is a massive shift. Google will of course try to turn its search page into something that moves people to its AI offerings (which it has already been trying to do with Gemini via Gmail) but that is a huge risk and won’t pickup everyone. All those sweet ad dollars once locked into the monopoly provider of the internet version of yellow pages are up for grabs on the market.
