I know you know who Lifetime is, but in case you are unfamiliar with Integrity, they're all dark and metal and stuff. Their early stuff is truly 180. Very odd pairing to say the least.
When we got near the school, this white van started trying to run us off the road, throwing shit at us, etc. we pulled into the parking lot and it was Integrity, laughing at us. They came over and introduced themselves
Lifetime was selling a brand new 7" (later called "tinnitus"). They didn't have the official covers yet, so they gave them out with a xeroxed temp cover and said they'd send the real one if you mailed them the temp cover. Like an idiot, I did that. i should have kept the temporary cover, I bet there are none of those in existence.
Integrity and Lifetime played DC the next day and my friend interviewed Integrity and asked the singer what was up with them playing together, were they on tour, and a member of the band said "Dwid's a fag now, he's fucking the singer."
