The main characters are non-actors, effectively playing themselves. One is a Ukrainian woman who moves to Austria looking for work, and the other is a homeless Austrian dood who goes to Ukraine to start a vending machine business. Everything is filmed on location and I don't believe there are any professional actors used in the film. It's all about the cycle of lost hopes and investments that go nowhere these countries experience with one another.
