Obviously Dr Feelgood was their peak success, but I would argue that the Girls album is a better album that fits their vibe the best

Feelgood, but it didn’t last long. Grunge came 2 years later and erased them from the mainstream.

false. this is lame propaganda. grunge erased shitty bands. Metalica, GNR, def leperad etc all sold better than grunge bands in the 90s. Crues falloff in the 90s was due to dumping vince.

Dr Feelgood was not getting play on rock radio stations by 1992. It was all grunge, Metallica, and GNR

generally agree. Dr. Feelgood feels like the album a band always rushes to release just after their true peak, to coast on momentum. kind of flabby, unfocused, but slick, commercially successful.

although, I heard Don't Go Away Mad recently and it's underrated. very catchy.

Feelgood was the slickly produced, pop rock catchy album that made them million$$

Girls nailed the scumbag biker/strip club goer vibe better than anything I’ve ever heard. Production was peak scummy 80s vibe too

That song played on a virtual loop on the jukebox at my local pizza hut for a long time. It was huge.

dr. feelgood for sure, the entire album is one banger after another and extremely scummy. Look at just the tracks...

1. T.n.T. (striver concept opening)

2. Dr. Feelgood (all time classic)

3. Slice of Your Pie (lol)

4. Rattlesnake Shake (180 and lol)

5. Kickstart My Heart (180 all time classic)

6. Without You (classic)

7. Same Ol' Situation (classic)

8. Sticky Sweet (180 and scummy)

9. She goes down (180 and scummy)

10. Don't go away mad (all time classic)

11. Time for change (180)
