Date: February 21st, 2020 1:43 PM Author: Cowardly marketing idea I mean in the sense that "Gaming Culture" and the ways and customs of internet gaming communities actually had a great deal of scope and depth to them---many of the seeds that the "Weird Computer" counter-culture groups in the 80s and early 90s sowed landed in the realm of online gaming and growing up alongside of those seeds sprouting and rising was actually genuinely very interesting What happened to change all of this? A lot, much of it not directly related to Gaming, but the general "vibe" that "e-Gaming was murdered" is correct the question that might stem from that is "by who?"---well, i can't say, but i can tell you that they're still with us and doing the same dastardly needful that they were then |
