Advent of AI made me depressed I think

Somehow I still keep getting glowing feedback and more responsibilities and pay. I barely do any work, just tap out brief messages and approve stuff mindlessly. Half the time I don’t even review what I’m approving. Working just seems like such flame, can’t believe I dedicated much of my life to it. Now I can’t even stop doing it because it supports my family and lifestyle.
Also I’ve been engaged in hugely self destructive behaviors. Alcoholism, rampant infidelity, some drug use, weight gain and shit diet. Pretty sure they’re just aimed and making me feel something or blowing up my life. All this started around when AI came out. I think it fucked with something deep inside me |
