Modern Christian religion is pretty wonky - Jesus is treated like toxic boyfrien

Most churches now are Justin Bieber types singing songs like "i can only imagine" about how Jesus is so perfect and beautiful and awesome and we love Jesus so much. Anything you do on Earth is secondary, the only thing that matters is that you think Jesus is perfect.
I feel like 30 years ago Jesus was known as a teacher and now he's a teen idol. |

A congregation I attended for a little while had a hymnal they used for 90% of their hymns and then these binders of hymns that weren't in the hymnal. "i can only imagine" was in there.
I had never heard it before, they used it a lot in service. Pretty cheesy. |
