Even though a judge had previously sealed the record stating it was in the best interest of the kid to remain sealed, some thug in a robe unsealed it just to give it to a newspaper in another state, because Reasons.
In the sealed custody agreement there was a lot of weird sex stuff about the husband. Apparently he had had a fantasy about fucking Jeri in public and wanted to get into whips and chains and some dom/sub stuff. Although I don't think he ever actually did this, it just came out somehow in court during the custody battle (seems like she was probably just trying to pill the court against her ex). Even though I don't think any of it was ever actually done, the scandal was severe enough that it caused Mr. Ryan to drop out of the race. The replacement candidate sucked and Obama won.
