Anyone ever come across scholarship on the internet-driven increase in hookers?

Eg a paper like this: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0094119010000896#:~:text=

But from the last 7 years post-smart phone ubiquity, and I guess also post-peak Tinder. I gather that Craigslist and the like were also insane/even more of a Wild West, but the volume of hooker supply today seems unquestionably higher. And the tech/smartphone native nature of Gen Z and younger millennials plus the combo of porn normalization and widespread opioid addiction over the last 15 years seems like it was a perfect pretext to drive this explosion in whoring. So it’s now way easier for the horniest women to monetize their nymphomania, and standardizing basic security practices makes it easier for them to opt in and remain for longer. Seems like all of this adds up to a distortive impact on dating and sex that is underappreciated.
