Somehow it became infected with an antibiotic resistant bug and gave me sepsis. They didn't find any stones.

I had an infection in my spleen recently. It was very swollen. They thought it might be a blood cancer. But it was just a bad infection. They put me on mega antibiotics and I got to keep my spleen but they were talking about surgery for a minute there.

The sepsis was unpleasant. Really fucks up everything. Spent a week in the hospital then 10 days on IV antibiotics at home.

It was doc controlled. It felt like an alien abduction. I was lying on a table with this big thing above me that had four long sharp shiny probes hanging down. That's the last thing I remember until I woke up with five wounds in my belly.

Mortality rate from the kind of sepsis(ESBL Klebsiella)I had is supposedly 20-40%. Doc friend said I must be otherwise healthy to have recovered so quickly.

It's a mystery. There was speculation that there was a gallstone that got stuck in the bile duct for a while then went on its merry way, but they never actually saw one on imaging or in the path exam. Apparently whatever it was had been going on for a long time based on what the surgeon saw.

Asians were in short supply in the 60s and 70s. I never found an Asian to date. My only experience with Asian pussy was in the 70s when my deranged Indian client from Hellosirland forced me to go with him to a brothel in Bangkok. It was actually quite good.

In college there were only a handful of Asians. Now it's almost 50%.

US demographics have changed enormously since then.

I can only speculate, having no direct current experience. I would suppose it's a good thing. Asian women can be attractive. No idea about attitude, which is what matters most. I've read on xo about the Asian superstudy/grind syndrome, but I have no idea if that's universal or even real. From a purely physical standpoint I would cheerfully fuck Asian women. The big question is whether they would cheerfully fuck me. I'll add that even in LS there were almost zero Asians. There have been big changes. Somebody will have to educate me on current sex culture.

No way to know for sure. Actuarially, maybe 10. Don't have any known terminal conditions yet. Sister lived to 90 in spite of alcoholism.

How would you react to a dementia-type situation, i.e., knowing you have a condition that will turn ur mind to mush well before you physically die. Killself? "Memory care"? Nothing?

If I knew it was imminent, I would make arrangements for memory care and get things in order while I could still think. Might move into assisted living early to make life easier for spouse, if still living, or self if not.

No rationale, just aversion. I might change my mind. I’m unlikely to get Alzheimer’s, but vascular dementia and stroke are always possible.
