This was a loan from 1999 (lmao) - I went to a state school where the all in yearly out of state price was about 25k. I think the total amount paid in excess of principal was only about 10k. I was in school from 1999 to 2004 and then from 2007 to 2010. So only about 18 years of interest accrued.
