Date: February 17th, 2026 12:23 PM Author: ..,..,..,..,,...,,..,.. No kidding, I've been rejected from jobs when the first call isn't a video call but a phone call. They hear me, and they just "know." They're very polite, but a rejection email always follows.
I then started sending a CV with my photo, and suddenly they want a video call if the first call is just by phone.
They're usually shocked. They don't treat me poorly, but it's clear they don't see me as a "full WASP" just because of my Indian accent.
Taking comments, attacks and ridicule. |
