So now I'm accumulating a list of things I can sell on eBay and ways to cut spending to make up for this $9K. My net worth is around $400k, so it's not an emergency, but it still hurts. Fuck I'm an idiot. |

Here's how I'm cutting expenses: No restaurant food for a while since I easily burn an extra $1k+/month on restaurants. Drinking tap water instead of sparkling water or bottled water. Grocery shopping in store instead of with Instacart.
Any other ideas or just donations welcome. |

This is true degeneracy. I can see betting when you (foolishly, in all likelihood) think you have an edge or where it makes the game more exciting for you to watch when you have a little skin in it. Fortunately I did my taxes early this year and am supposed to get a ~$810 refund in a few days.
Next payday is on the 25th. Reducing spending as much as possible for the next two or so months.
Want to pay this off ASAP so I don't have to think about it any longer than I have to. |

I had to log in to the app and withdraw the little cash I had left. Turns out I lost around $8.6k and not around $9.1k like my half-drunk might thought. So that's a positive.
I have around $2k of stuff up on eBay and Facebook Marketplace. Haven't sold a thing yet. Have a few more things I need to list. I didn't realize electronics lose their value so quickly Jfc.
No restaurant food for at least a month. I'm walking to the grocery store instead of having groceries delivered.
I'm going to live like a pauper for at least a month to cut back on spending as much as possible. |
