He had celebs doing motion capture for months, probably bc they hoped for some kind of payoff. The game’s sales are a mystery and reviewers dispassionately gave it 9/10s. You’re afraid to play 1 and 2 both. It’s another case of an AAA Japanese game all but failing but being beloved by like 1,999,000k Losers nonetheless. This portends Ruin for the industry. Kojima is seen as a non-entity in the indie/aaa dichotomy. And that’s by design.
