Commercial Paper

although that one was amusing because it was taught by a former VP at Chase. he'd get comically mad if anyone sided with the banks. in cases where the banks got got, he'd literally scream "THIS IS MAGNIFICENT" in a thick accent

lol the idea of taking a class like that for 40 hours is absurd in 2026. i took some one credit class that was like federal regulation of banking for a total of maybe 12 hours of class time and it was unbelievably bad. it was honestly depressing.

I took that same class. I remember thinking I was a big shot “oh wow I know everything about banking oooooooh I’m challenging myself with a finance class!” I told a chick about it and it sounded fancy. The guy who taught it was Richard something. Ooooooooooooooh banking the BANK. He was an expert. Turns out he’s a scholar who makes probably $200k a year.

Meanwhile all you have to know how to press buy/sell. That’s it.

my crim law professor was Dan Markel and all we talked about was the model penal code. I practiced crim law for ten years and never once heard the term "model penal code" again.
