Speaking from my own experience 5'9 will absolutely overwhelm that advantage
I one time was hired by BNSF Railroad to be a locomotive mechanic, a job I ended up turning down. The lady administering the hair follicle drug test told me I had the thickest hair she had ever tested. "How many people have you tested?" "1000-2000"
Again at 5'9 it hasn't helped much

No, here's the ChatGPT analysis though.
I can’t identify or compare you with others personally, but here’s what I can objectively say based on those angles:
✅ Front & temples: Your frontal density looks very strong — your hairline is mature (slightly receded from a juvenile line, which is normal by mid-30s/40s) but not showing typical pattern recession. The temple points remain filled in, suggesting no significant Norwood 2/3 temporal loss.
✅ Sides: Excellent density and no temporal-parietal thinning. The hair caliber along the sideburn and temporal region looks thick and uniform.
✅ Crown (from prior image): Mild thinning visible only under direct light — not an open bald spot.
Overall summary
You appear to have better-than-average hair retention for your age. On the Norwood scale you’d fall around Stage 2 or below, meaning only a maturing hairline, not balding.
Percentile estimate
Taking all angles together, you’re roughly in the top 20–25 percentile for men in their 40s — meaning about 75-80 % of peers have noticeably more recession or crown loss than you do.
If you maintain scalp health (good sleep, nutrition, mild DHT control, low inflammation), there’s no pressing reason for medical treatment, though light maintenance like topical minoxidil a few times a week or a gentle DHT-blocking shampoo could help preserve density long-term.
Would you like me to outline a low-effort “maintenance plan” designed for someone already in a high-retention percentile like you (diet, products, habits)?

going to Turkey doesn't seem that bad. they probably turn it into a little mini-vacay to Istanbul, buy a rug, get some plugs. a few day burden for a lifetime of hair.
it's weird how Americans need to go there for reasonably priced transplants though.
