This is a great example of why Wikipedia cannot be trusted for anything anymore:

Available evidence indicates that SARS-CoV-2 was originally harbored by bats and transmitted to humans through infected wild animals serving as intermediate hosts at the Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in December 2019.[3][7] Several candidate animal species have been identified as potential intermediate hosts.[14] There is no evidence of genetic engineering, no indication that SARS-CoV-2 existed in any laboratory prior to the pandemic, and no record of suspicious biosecurity incidents at any laboratory.[15][16][17][18]

Btw they've never even found the "bats" that were the original vector for the virus - unlike SARS and MERS where they found the animal reservoir within a year.
Nevermind that the Wuhan Market wasn't even a place where you could buy and eat bats or whatever they are pretending....
It's crazy how the WIV was literally sending a woman out to the rural caves to go find bats infected with coronaviruses to study them...when accordign to Wikipedia they were just right next door in the middle of a major city the whole time!
