Even in my early 20s, when I would drink 10 plus drinks pretty much every weekend night, I would basically be hungover until Thursday every week. I only got one productive day, maybe two out of the week.
And by my late twenties I needed coke or Adderall to be able to drink past 10pm.

i never had any serious repercussions (which i am certain has a lot tondo with sheer dumb luck) but eventually gave it up because alcohol wrecks your looks and the weight gain creep and fitness impact can’t be avoided in middle age. i’m a vainmo, so i chose staying lean and younger looking but sometimes i really miss the boozy lifestyle. it’s fucking crazy how much harder i can push it with exercise if i’m at 20 drinks a week instead of 60+. the bros i know who never cut back all look rough now, always red and blotchy, sweaty alcohol bloated heads, bad skin, spare tire, it’s easy to spot the physical degradation from binging.
