I had the same question about how vague this Anglo elite reference is. Like who exactly? It's rarely someone with a figurehead position outside of a few exceptions, and even then they're lesser players usually. Churchill was definitely an example but a Montagu Norman had the real inside line. Those that are dedicated to continuing the current Anglo hegemony are still pulling the levers though.
