"how does Israel further any of these lofty goals?" the argument is that the upper elites need a binding glue to keep them together multi-generationally, and that power alone is not sufficient (neither is satan worship and child rape). under this argument, using the jewish eschatological vision as checking off messiah requirements is the binding glue to keep the elites from infighting
this is much more important than controlling oil. whether or not they actually believe the vision is unimportant, keeping the elites together and unified toward a future vision is the critical aspect |
