A true watershed film in cinema history.
And I’ll go even further, the exact moment within the film that makes you sit up and go “WTF?!?!”, is the Trinity/cop fight scene in the beginning when the camera pans around her while she’s frozen in midair.
Those few seconds are where I went “whoa… this flick is different.” And it’s stood the test of time. (At least the original). |

The entire sequence from the moment they leave The Frenchman until when Neo grabs Morpheus and the Keymaker is probably my favorite cinematic sequence of all time. It’s amazing. I will occasionally just watch that scene if I only have 30 minutes or something |

Just look at these vampires and ghosts. Who are they? Where did they come from? Nobody knows and yet they are so memorable, so "well written." |
