It's not about being hard or reloading, dummy.
Imagine you can't reload. There are actions you can take in game that make it impossible to get the Mr. House, NCR or Legion endings. Again, without reloading. Assume you can't reload.
There is no action that you can take in game (other than triggering a bug, I guess) that makes it impossible to get the Yes Man ending. Because of that, the Yes Man ending track shouldn't be so easy to find. The whole purpose of it is to make sure that people who stick with their choices and don't reload can still always finish the game.

The cancelled isometric fallout 2 sequel (before Bethesda bought out the IP) "Van Buren" has all of its design documents online and perusable. There's some interesting stuff in there---really kooky worldbuilding, especially if you liked Old World Blues in FNV (my personal favorite)
