I used to like playing it on the higher difficulties with harder AI mods and save scumming to puzzle through wars against much stronger empires. Been a ling time though. Everytime I go check to see how the game is on the latest patch, it sounds like they've fucked up something new. And I'm also a few expansions behind. I tried playing it with Cainite tp a while back and it just kept breaking every 20m Apparently the last couple of DLCs were extremely mid but Machine Age was one of the best entries for the title. Paradox has gotten extremely scummy with their DLC policies too so I don't feel like giving them money much I haven't even played Vicky 3 yet despite waiting for it for years and being one of the like 10 guys into autistic economy/demographics sims that particular franchise is made for bc they released like 30-40 bucks of DLC for it a few months after it dropped |
