There's something so sterile and corporate about them. Tyson is the opposite he was an iconoclast. I feel like I just watched NBC defeat John Wayne. Something just so soulless and boring about these scripted fucks. It's that whole like&subscribe generation bullshit. Even the fact they picked the right guy to create a massive amount of public interest... Like everything Gen Z feels so staged and scripted. Are guys born 1995-2015 really going to look up to these dudes 20 years from now as anything other than self promoters who hoodwinked them into buying cans of Prime or w/e? I feel so bad for people born so late they don't remember the Before Times. I hate to sound cranky but Tim Dillon was talking about this shit recently too. How culture has no substance.

Frankly, no. And that's why I'm a renowned accordion player. Polka is my game. Don't need fame.

i feel the same way. however, i also suspect that feeling this way is the equivalent of posting “kids today will never know what REAL music is!!!” in the comments section of a foghat youtube video.

I do that too brother. Imagine thinking anything Gen Z has created is worth a bean.
