Feels like "Joe Flacco" has been in the NFL since the 90s. Turns out he was drafted in 2008, still a long ass time

He’s so old that DAVE WANNSTEDT fucked his career by denying his transfer waiver which is why he went to Delaware so he only had sit out one year.

I remember Joe Flacco taking the Ravens on a deep playoff run. There was a Super Bowl where both coaches were literally brothers.

It’s crazy how they are still hanging on by a couple fingernails. They can definitely beat the Steelers twice with Flacco/no Burrow, which is the key to the whole season. This Thurs game would be perfect to have Flacco go full sandlot/Peyton audibles on every other play like he did with the Browns last year. If they do that, split with the Ravens, and then win 4/6 of Jets, Dolphins, Bears, Pats, Cards, Browns (very doable) they have 9 wins and likely get the division tiebreaker. Flacco basically just needs to find 3 wins in their next 6 (Pitt x 2, Pats, Jets, Bears) before 12/7 @ Bills or 12/14 v Ravens when Burrow will likely be back and then Burrow can run the table of their last 4 and get them to 9-8. If they can get even luckier from there they would play the Pats instead of the AFC West #2 in the wild card round.

PIT is probably a fraud but still probably better than CIN without Burrow. CIN still has a bottom 5 defense.

Yes they’d have to outscore the Steelers. Given how simplistic their offense is the Steelers will have a hard time scoring 30 on anyone the rest of the year. Bengals would need to spam the back shoulder sideline throws and get the LBs to soften and drop and then run enough to keep them honest. Their offense should include a 50/50 ball to Chase or Higgins on every series and then back shoulders and screens and TE zone busters to convert 3rd downs.

Amazing watching that game with 2 qbs who could actually read defenses, unlike the current generation of qbs whose successes are tied more to the coaching staff and offensive systems

More evidence is starting to come in that Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs have been getting favorable treatment from the referees, and I'm not saying it's deliberate, but the statistical analysis seems to show that they are penalized less.. it's possible that all this attention recently on the lack of penalties on those two teams has rebalanced the scales and allowed good pocket passers like Flaxco and Rodgers to do their thing
