the social media takes on this are wild, a lot of republicans being unapologetically racist and essentially calling for affirmative action for "heritage texans", saying all these indians get in via dei which is ljl.
and look i don't like jeets either, but these kids are texans and got in just like everyone else by being top 5% of their hs class, and if not then they were 5.1% with 1500+ and probably turned down ivies to attend. they waited in line for god knows how long to get these tickets, probably while studying for their STEM exams. then they showed up and cheered their asses off. these are the last brown people we should be complaining about, even if they smell bad.
also ljl at people trolling magtards by posting a picture of the second family.
also crazy that ut hasn't said a word about it. republican leadership seems paralyzed over this. |
