meanwhile, for libs celebrating tragedies that befall their political opponents is common place. its because cons tend to view libs as naive, misguided people and have compassion for them at least at a base human level. whereas libs view cons as evil monsters.
libs hate life and themselves. look at the conservative reaction to RBGs death or a tragedy that befalls libs. it's generally compassionate and respectful. meanwhile when a conservative dies tragically they fall over themselves loling and celebrating. if taylor lorenz got shot cons would say “i disagreed with her on almost every issue but no one should be killed for saying what they believe.” kirk gets killed and libs rush out to dance on his grave and circlejerk about how he's evil and got what's coming to him.

I know a tranny who says things like this is a battle of life and death and the other side is trying to erase me. Lots of libs will say it's a battle of morality, between right and wrong, and our side has a monopoly on truth. Millions of them really believe this. It's existential for them. They think that if cons win politically than they're all going to be snuffed out. They think they're on the verge of death if they lose. Another reason they can't stand free speech because they know deep down they will lose in the market place of ideas. Whereas virtually every con is pro free speech and willing to take all comers.
The unfortunate reality is you can't convince these people to behave reasonably. They're just going to keep acting like they're fighting existential jihad forever. Whenever someone gets really blue pilled to the hilt they're done for, they're going to wish death upon their enemies forever. They literally espouse the claim that only they have a monopoly on truth and that history will justify them millenia from now as always having been right and everyone else was wrong.
So it forces cons into the awkward position of not only having to disagree vehemently with the other side but also to constantly take the high road for the sake of stability of the nation. It's a shitty position to be in to have to try and fight back the fair way knowing your opponent will do anything to cheat. And we'll never get a mea culpa or a thank you card when we're proven right. |
