Until now they could claim DJT was a minority president, electoral college is bad, blah blah blah. The #RESISTANCE was justified cause Trump didn’t REALLY win. But I don’t know how you spin 300+ EVs and the first R popular vote win in 20 years. They can’t even blame election shenanigans since they spent 8 years telling us elections were accurate and foolproof.

The first Trump term could be excused as an aberration, a wild gamble that didn't work out. Doubling-down on this repugnant man after all the horrible things he's said and done is a decision that will haunt this country for a long time, if we even survive what's coming.
I am appalled by this outcome, and saddened by the majority of Americans who actually wanted this to happen.
I will accept the results and try to move forward, but I fear that the decline of this country has now accelerated, we are transforming into something unrecognizable from the union our founders originally envisioned. May we all find hope where we can.

I'm seeing many posts where they're appearing accelerationist about MAGA, like that'll make America "learn" lol

Americans will learn their lessons whether or not they want them.
strong border.
cheap energy.
no more blank checks to foreign countries.
that will teach the public a thing or two.

As someone who leans left, I think it’s great that he got the popular vote. There’s nothing the democratic leadership to hide behind now - it’s a terribly run organization and has done nothing but string together failures for the past 10+ years even when given easy layups. They should all lose their jobs but they won’t. And the liberal media has to eat shit now too - all the name calling and self righteousness has never worked and you’d think they’d have to realize that they cause more harm than good. At least with a failure this big the libs may have a chance of recalibrating and focusing on substance that people give a shit about (but that’s probably being overly optimistic).
