This is an el nino year Also no the local guess has always been that this just makes the companies that sell supplies/groceries/etc a lot of money + this acts as a cushion for profits lost due to closures/property damage Climate change is sort of real but needs to be addressed at a local level and likely does not affect the storm season much. This last decade has been incredibly sedate for hurricanes |
