Libs, what do you hate rising living standards?

This seems like a fairly low skilled job. How hard could it be to train replacements?

probably not that hard. if the employers are going to draw a line in the sand, they better be ready to go all the way and hire permanent replacements.

fair play to this dood. if the union can pull off a strike successfully, they could cripple these companies. that's what we call leverage and i have no issue with him using it. if he's wrong, he could decimate his union.

this is very good for trump. a labor union official is on a video gleefully threatening to shut down the economy and put retailers out of business at a time when people are hurting from massive inflation. democrats are the "labor union" party, so this ultimately gets associated with kamala, and it happens barely a month from the election. if this strike is prolonged, i could see that driving turnout for trump.

It's a pretty highly skilled job. You don't want some random Mexican fucking that up. But it should be automated.

But Biden told reporters Sunday he has no intention of using the powers he has under Taft-Hartley.

“No,” Biden said. “Because it’s collective bargaining, and I don’t believe in Taft-Hartley.”

no they aren't, any more than corporations are "government creations." unions (and corporations) are regulated by the government but certainly are not created by govt. not sure what point you're trying to make here but it sounds sealclubber-esque.
