the EC is in the Constitution, but if Trump wins in 2020 without a popular majority there is going to be increasing political pressure to get rid of it. It won't matter if they can't get the states to pass an amendment, so who cares. btw, the title of this thread is a huge reason why the GOP should be the ones jumping to get rid of the EC.

14th amendment gives voting rights to men born or naturalized. But more importantly concept of giving illegals right to vote is contrary to basic premise of sovereignty. |

2-3 election cycles ago GOP had solid grasp on suburbs. now they are full of D-voting shrews.
