Date: October 7th, 2024 2:27 PM This happened last week. Was out of town and met a friend at a coffee shop in Philly. Barista comes over and asks us if we wanna do the open mic event down stairs. My buddy is a writer/poet so I jokingly talk her up and try to get her to do the event. The people around overhear and are interested. Then we get into a long convo with some grad students (Asian girls on MacBooks and some weird biracial dude) and just start hanging out for a hour or so.
This kind of stuff happens a lot. |
