Date: February 26th, 2026 1:25 AM Author: Odious heaven Last year around this time I predicted the Oilers would win the Cup. I came very close to that prediction coming true especially how early on I came to it.
But this year they are completely fucked. The main reason is they have no defense or goaltending. They don't have an elite defender after Bouchard. Darnell Nurse sucks. Furthermore, they might have the worst goaltending tandem in the entire league. They were better off with Skinner who at least periodically played well. They are turbo fucked and if I were them I would sign Marc Andre Fleury or take some drastic action. Jarry is the worst goalie I have seen this season. |

Crosby had like 10 years of his career where he never came close to winning anything but early on and then later the organization twice went all in to put guys around him so he could win 3 Cups. We haven't seen anything like that from Edmonton. We've never seen them go out and get a goalie and the defense is pretty bad. The time to go out and get a team was 3 years ago and they haven't made any worthwhile moves. |
