It is much easier to coordinate - directly or indirectly - in small groups. And even more effective when there is legitimate cover. It's not like "Groyper" is an ethnicity even. Rather, it's a set of deeply-held beliefs that are already driving "true believers" to get involved in politics.
I don't think anyone of any note believes we're going to get back to mass white demographics. But over the next 10 - 20 years, any number of things could happen to push back on the Civil Rights regime. Etc. etc.
Btw - I have almost assuredly watched many, many more hours of Fuentes than you and I think a lot of the "he's a fed, he hates his followers" stuff is offbase and comes from out of context clips or a misunderstanding of the "humor."
And even if he actually despised his followers...who cares? When my wife is seeing his clips on normie Instagram, and these clips are getting millions and millions of views, it's pretty much irrelevant. What matters is that the message is getting out.
