for brushing i use a sonicare.

my preference for flossing is a diversity of tools. i waterpik once or twice a week. i use regular floss 3-4 times a week. 3-4 times a week, i use a dental pick. i feel this gives me the best balance of thorough cleaning and speed.

always heard good things for two reasons: they prevent you from brushing too aggressively and they require you to brush until the timer runs out. nothing you couldn't do with a normal toothbrush, but it ensures your compliance.
