My newest laptop has a 240hz OLED and I never run it at above 120hz. You're asking the GPU to push 2x the pixels which for new games means dropping settings even if you're playing on a 5080. You can also just get the latest 42 or 48" LG C series TV. I have 2 of these (1 for work, 1 for personal). I've been doing this for years.
For laptop displays, I pretty much only get OLED displays for the past 5 years. I got one miniled as an exception and OLED is, of course, better. |
