I used to have a buddy who could get me Sonos stuff half off through his job. Most of the above I bought through him, other than the Arc and the Sub.

the stuff just works

Just got some new speakers. Now have Ohm Walsh tall 1000s and an SVS 12 inch sub. Thorens 1500 turntable with Ortofon bronze cartridge, Denon streamer, Peachtree Carina GaN integrated amp, and old Technics CD changer. Only have a Klipsh soundbar/sub on the TV, but ruminating about getting a second set of Ohms and and an A/V receiver for it, but the soundbar sounds amazingly good. Have Klipsh RP-600Ms and a Klipsch 12 inch sub driven by a PS Audio Sprout and a Bluesound nano streamer at the winter place. Taking the Klipsch Heresies out there to see how they do. Really like the Ohms. Most listening is streaming now. Use Amazon Unlimited and Qobuz.

I have the same Klipsch. They're mid imo. Don't love em don't hate em. Best speakers I own but they haven't blown me away. Decent though.

That's my feeling about them, hence the Ohms. Amazingly little bass considering the woofer and cabinet size. Also a little peaky in some areas. I've had trouble getting a decent stereo image with them. I understand it's due to weird directivity vs. frequency issues. I've gone to the opposite pole with the Ohms.

There's a guy on YouTube who buys a couple of parts and in two hours upgrades them. It always seemed like a fun build. I've been meaning to try it seems easy enough if you have the parts.

Bose shit is so good there's no point in fucking with other brands. It didn't always used to be that way, but for the past ~10 years they've been unstoppable. My SoundLink 2 won't die after like 12 years of daily use
