We stopped at a good restaurant for dinner (The Filling Station), got FILLED, then drove back to our shitty indian airbnb. On our drive back, we stopped at this tiny liquor store that advertised wine tastings on their sign out front. The girl who was working there had her roommates hanging out with her, so we all started talking for about 30 minutes.
Everyone in Traverse City seems to be nice, genuine, and white. I saw zero niggers, zero spics, zero jeets, and zero terrorist muzzies. Just salt-of-the-earth whites. It reminded me of exurbs in the early 90s. |

Hofbrau Steak House near there is the only place i've identified as a must visit for a future trip.
i love Michigan. once you get outside of the Detroit area it is still 1987.
