As a father of a daughter it's just important to build our girls up man. It kills me when she asks "Daddy, do girls play football?" and while I wouldn't watch women's football the answer is always some variation of "No, football is only for boys." I think that kind of shit creates limiting beliefs brother.

Obviously by Asians I meant Asian-Americans, who are heavily underrepresented in the NBA, as are whites and hispanics. Why shouldn’t those groups get their own league? I bet tons of people would like to watch whites play basketball. Or what about a league reserved for short people? |

If you look at the early history of the NBA, it was shit, pure shit, they barely had viewers until one day, a guy by the name of Michael Jordan showed up and the league took off. The same thing can happen with Caitlin, and there's quite a few others who are at least decent supporting pieces.
I think you're expecting organic buzz overnight while ignoring that demand is a function not just of on-court talent, but also marketing and having the necessary infrastructures in place to support it. That takes time. They are correctly forecasting future demand even if you and other misogynists are temporarily confused.
And again--even if the product isn't good, other groups are forcememed constantly. You can fill a league multiple times over with the amount of Jews that are shoved in front of your dumb American eyeballs, but people like you see women getting attention and you like to punch down. That's really all there is to it.
Why do white people or Asian-Americans need their own leagues? There are plenty of the former in the existing leagues, and the latter are a small percentage of the population and the demand just isn't there. |
