Date: April 2nd, 2026 7:35 PM Author: ataraxic all of higher education is a joke, the only thing that matters in academia is maybe 5-10 individuals worldwide in any given field doing something close to genuinely novel work and a couple new promising students every year. all other students are just dicking around for four years for a pedigree and all other professors are just collecting rents. the price is just the job market talking for the name on the diploma.
