Although life was more, say, rudimentary than today, people could have their needs met on like 400 hours of work a year, leaving time to debate Consoles on the internet or get enraptured in pyramid schemes or go to the mall. Malls pre-ITE were filled with people 7 days a week. They always had arcades in them. And the golden age of arcades was always behind us.
