But I want to respectfully push back that the prosecution has not closed the loop between the proposition that something terrible happened, and the idea that that my client did it. Thats not a technicality. That's the constitution wearing a seatbelt in a car made entirely of due process.

And right now, the prosecution is asking you to remove the seatbelt, ignore the check engine light, and drive straight through Reasonable Doubt Canyon because the GPS says “vibes-based shortcut available.”

That’s not a burden of proof. Thats the prosecution handing you a fog machine.
