I almost exclusively play single-player because I enjoy narrative driven games that I can sit down and play at my own pace for a bit in the evening once the family is in bed. And, compared to passively watching a screen for TV or *FILM* (said with mocking breathlessness), I don’t end up scrolling nonsense on my phone.
I have zero interest in trying to hone my skills at some FPS so that I can hope to survive the lowest level lobby against a bunch of sweaty no-lives who are just trying to fill the hours between their shift-work with the lowest-cost-per-hour entertainment option. |
