It is one of the most violent urban environments of the late 20th century, shaped by clan warfare, Islamist militancy, and great-power interference. White liberals in Minneapolis speak with total moral certainty about a place they could not locate on a map ten minutes before they learned the word “Islamophobia.” They celebrate diversity while knowing nothing about the internal politics of the societies they are importing into their cities.
