the angles also have very little history except for having reggie jackson and nolan ryan for a little bit and that one world series. unlike other cities with two teams they don't really have a clear home sub-territory / demographic, it would be orange county but i assume everyone there just roots for the dodgers. |

At least the redskins have the excuse of being in DC, where the pressure was unrelenting. And snyder made clear he was being dragged kicking and screaming into it ("washington football team" lol).
And the Rays are such a lame fake franchise in part because of how lame and fake tampa is. On pure baseball, you can make the case that the rockies are just as bad, but they don't feel like a team you could pick up and drop into another random city 1.2x the population and no one would care 2 years later.
