People who are successful in life think the world is complicated and don't have all the answers. Every policy choice is a trade-off, path dependence is the key, they at least have a basic understanding of moral philosophy, etc. Every broke person is convinced they have all the answers, the leaders of this world are just fools for not listening to the trailer park welfare parasite. This experience never happens for fools, because they never get good at anything. Their entire life is just bouncing around from one low-skilled job to another and not learning. They never mastered any skill, so they don't know what mastering a skill is, so they assume everything is as easy as whatever they do for a living (say, being a line chef at a chain restaurant).

yeah there are some smart people who end up with goofy worldviews because of living in extremely sheltered and curated environments, but for the most part the accuracy of a person's understanding of the world just correlates with IQ like everything else involving thinking
