He told me that Allstate is in the business of selling insurance products with all kinds of riders that are designed to screw the policyholder out of any kind of payout in the event of loss. He said they have all kinds of riders and you "need a lawyer" to review any Allstate policy because "all the tricks they've come up with in the underwriting room."

He made the underwriting room seem like some secret mountainside alchemy lab or something. Anyway, it left a very bad taste in my mouth. How is any of this legal? And why is the adjuster so giddy to tell policyholders that their $10,000 Allstate policies aren't worth enough to bother wiping your ass with?

Part of the reason I love suing insurance companies so much. They are genuinely satanic and you’re in a legal battle against evil

You're the reason they get away with it. "Yeah but you can just sue that's how our system irons itself out"

You just hate businesses run by goyim. Jews hate insurance companies because the Romans invented insurance.

I interviewed at Allstate for an adjuster position a few years ago, not flame. The hiring manager was a miserable jerk and tried to convince me that it wasn't a call center even though everyone was wearing a headset. He told me that if I got the position I'd have to fly to Ohio for like two weeks of training. I tried to have a sense of humor and expressed my interested in insurance, but he didn't seem to think I was qualified. I got a rejection email a few days later.

You probably dodged a bullet, brother. These primarily U.S.-based domestic carriers of home and auto are literally the bottom dregs of the insurance industry. They do evil things to their policyholders. You at least get to help your community and sometimes there's a chad that comes into the store. You wouldn't find that at Allstate.

Also, you were probably not hired because of your race.

I applied at Liberty Mutual, too. They have some kind of "hybrid" model now, but the reviews are terrible.

When dealing with insurance carriers, you really have to put their mouths on the curb before they'll negotiate fairly with you.

No shit this is the deal as to why states have individual rules and why and there's resistance against selling things like car insurance across state lines. South Carolina for instance doesn't allow any of this crap and has an omnibus bill that basically makes car insurance more or less standard. Other states like Florida you can opt out of basically everything. Florida doesn't even have minimum liability limits. Neocons like McCain back in the day made a big deal about trying to get rid of State protections for insurance, which of course would have been a race to the bottom.
